Join Ranger Demetriou for our second annual "Twas the Hike Before Christmas," on the Pioneer Springs Trail. This peaceful morning hike will start promptly at 8:30 AM and offer a chance to connect with nature and enjoy a moment of tranquility before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins. We will hike from the trailhead to the active Pioneer Spring and back, which is between 2.5 and 3 miles.
To ensure a comfortable and safe experience, please dress according to the 3 Ws of layering:
This hike is a perfect opportunity to experience the quiet beauty of the woods in Winter. The trail is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels. Please wear sturdy footwear. NO SANDALS OR OPEN TOE SHOES
The hike will be canceled in the event of rain or if temperatures are below 35°F. Please check the park's website or social media pages for any last-minute updates before heading out.
